The Athena® is made from polypropylene which is one of the toughest plastics made today. It is a rigid hard shell that is extremely tough and durable and passed a 400lb impact test. We recommend this set for those who are more concerned about protecting the contents of their luggage from damage, then they are worried about the weight of their luggage, as the Athena® weighs a bit more than our other luggage lines. It has a unique 'slate-like' handle system which is push-button released. The Athena® has massive 108mm wheels with protective polypropylene plates. With several combination and key locks, the Athena® is one of our most secure luggage lines.
