The larger version of our 1635 messenger bag, the 1640 has the same design of our original messenger bag but uses oil cloth rather than Cordura Nylon. Waterproofed wax gives it a nice look and finish, plus there's a soft shoulder strap for a more comfortable feel. A great traveling bag, the interior compartment is large enough to carry your clothes, books, or laptop and it's got a flap inside with two small zippered pockets for your cash, passport, and MetroCard. There's even a zippered pocket on top of the front flap that's good for the small items you need without stopping. This bag also includes a Velcro closure and two buckles to keep it securely closed.
