About Outdoor Research

Our goal at Outdoor Research is to design and manufacture innovative products for outdoor recreation and travel that are of the highest quality, reasonably priced, truly functional, and as versatile as possible.

We also make sure that our products are tested by the world’s hardest working outdoor enthusiasts, and the feedback we receive from them is invaluable. It is not uncommon for these people to be out in the elements more than 200 days a year doing what they do, and this allows us to tap into a valuable source of accelerated wear and tear.
